Last night, S & I went to a shindig that Student Services where she works was holding. It was at a bar in Dupont Circle...a hole in the ground, but kinda funky...good place for talking and dancing. Had a couple drinks, some italian food, and bounced around with the art students for a few hours. Since it wasn't too late, we decided to venture forth to the Phase afterwards. Gah. I hadn't been there in 2 years and it was a complete time warp going there last night. Exactly the same...music, people, etc. Waited on a couple who was *ahem* late ;), until we couldn't take it any longer and left. Thus ended the night.
Today we decided to be touristy and see the cherry blossoms in DC and also our favorite local band, Cerulean Groove, play there. The trees were beautiful and the day couldn't have been more lovely. Cerulean Groove sounded just as good acoustic as they do plugged in.
